Accessories Worth having
A drop on the lens before the dive. Spit works, the bottle works better, and neither works until the new-mask film is burnt off.

Anti-fog leaves a film on the inside of the lens that stops the condensation forming droplets, so the glass stays clear for the session. A fogged mask is a dive spent seeing nothing, and on a Moroccan point where the fish comes once, that is the fish.
Saliva does the job for an hour; a commercial anti-fog or baby shampoo does it for a session.
What matters:
None of it works on a new mask until the manufacturing film is gone. Burn it off with a lighter flame moved lightly over the inside of the glass until the film clouds and clears, or scrub it hard with non-gel toothpaste, before the first dive. Then anti-fog each session.
One drop per lens, rubbed over the whole inside surface, rinsed once in the sea before putting the mask on. More is a film you look through.
Keep the bottle out of the sun and closed. Apply on a dry lens for best effect.
Fish stringer
A needle and a cord to carry the catch. It hangs from the float, not from you.
Gear bag
Long enough for the fins, tough enough for the rock, and it drains. The bag decides whether your gear lasts.
Loading pad
A thick patch on the chest to brace the gun against when you load it. Your sternum will thank you by the tenth load.
