Accessories Worth having
Long enough for the fins, tough enough for the rock, and it drains. The bag decides whether your gear lasts.

All gear prices in Morocco →A spearo carries fins of 90 cm, a gun of a metre or more, a wet suit, lead, a float and a hundred small things, over rock and sand, in and out of a car, wet, most weekends. A bag that fits all of that, drains the water out and keeps the sand from grinding the suit is what turns gear from a pile into a kit.
It also keeps the gun out of sight between the car and the water, which is a courtesy to everyone else on the beach.
What matters:
A mesh duffel is the cheapest good answer. A rigid or wheeled bag suits a diver who travels by car and never walks far.
Big enough for fins, suit, float and lead; measure the fins first.
Empty it, rinse it, dry it open. Salt and sand in the zips are the reason zips fail; rinse them.
Fish stringer
A needle and a cord to carry the catch. It hangs from the float, not from you.
Anti-fog
A drop on the lens before the dive. Spit works, the bottle works better, and neither works until the new-mask film is burnt off.
Loading pad
A thick patch on the chest to brace the gun against when you load it. Your sternum will thank you by the tenth load.
