Before you get in the water

What Moroccan law says, point by point, with the text behind it. Four rules to know, and the sizes people look up most.

Special authorisation Spearfishing requires an authorisation issued by the maritime fisheries delegation (Délégation des Pêches Maritimes), subject to a fee.

Non-resident visitors Exempt from the fee for the duration of their stay in Morocco.

From sunrise to sunset Recreational fishing is allowed in any season, but never at night.

For your own table The catch from recreational fishing may not be sold.
